The '04 Montrachet is less opulent than usual, but displays the typical honey, white flowers, citronella and mineral aromas. This shows even better on the palate, with ripe peach, lime blossom, honey and mineral flavors all in balance, revealing freshness and energy. Butter and hazelnut play out on the finish.--Non-blind 2004 DRC tasting (February 2007). Best from 2009 through 2024.
