The 2014 Grands Echezeaux Grand Cru was one of the few reds from barrel that was showing just a touch of reduction on the nose. The palate is chewy on the entry with good weight, tightly wound and quite muscular, though I would be seeking more weight and persistence on the finish. I will reserve judgement for now.
