The 2013 Vosne Roman?e les Malconsorts 1er Cru has a sorbet-like freshness on the nose that unfolds with intent in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannin, quite sappy in the mouth with a poised and sustained finish. Apparently, this is one of Mounir’s most mercurial wines in barrel, even so on this showing it is packed full of potential.
