The 2017 Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvée Fleuron (100% Chardonnay) is soft, open-knit and ready to go. Sourced from 73% Grand Cru sites and 27% 1er Cru sites, there’s a good bit of flavor complexity such that the 2017 is already approaching maturity. I would not wait too long on this. Brioche, dried flowers, mint, spice and nut hints linger on the subtle, nicely nuanced finish. Dosage is 5 grams per liter. Disgorged: January 23, 2022.
