The 2021 Pinot Noir Running Fence Vineyard Cuvée Catherine pairs power and elegance, gaining in expression for several days after the bottle was opened. It slowly releases fragrant red cherries and cranberries from the glass, plus arresting nuances of pipe tobacco, red licorice, wild fennel, orange peel and potpourri. The medium-bodied palate features powerfully concentrated, nuanced fruit. It has a harmonious frame of finely grained tannins, seamless freshness and a flourish of spices on the long finish.
