I tasted the 2023 Chardonnay Cuv?e Indig?ne from tank just before it was bottled. It’s youthfully shy on the nose, segueing slowly from toast and vanilla to nectarine and red apple. It’s more open on the palate, offering mouth-coating, spicy stone-fruit flavors. Its concentration and satiny texture are balanced by vibrant acidity that points to a long life in the cellar, and it has a dynamic finish. A total of 536 cases were made, and the wine will be released in April of 2025.
