Interestingly, the 2013 Blanc de Noirs Charles Heintz Vineyard comes across as more complete and also more satisfying than the Blanc de Blancs, which suggests the Pinot handled the intensity of the vintage better than the Chardonnay. Expressive floral and red berry fruit notes all flesh out in this creamy, inviting wine. Vinous and alluring, the 2013 will drink well right out of the gate. Bottled with no dosage.
