The 2009 Chassagne-Montrachet Clos de la Maltroie comes across as quite delicate and sleek in its understated, refined personality. White flowers, white peaches and pears meld together nicely in this supple wine. With time in the glass, the wine’s fleshiness and inner perfume emerges quite nicely, rounding out the finish strongly. Anticipated maturity: 2012+.
