The 2024 Chante Pinot MMXXIV is a p?t-nat disgorged in early November, blending Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. It is golden in hue and smells of apple juice and apple blossom. The palate comes with lively, sprightly, but surprisingly civilized foam with a wonderful edge of white pepper. This is immensely friendly and so juicy. There is just 1 g/L of residual sweetness, but it comes across as far livelier and juicier. This is a simple wine of purest pleasure and exuberance.
