The 2011 Vosne-Roman?e Cuv?e Duvault-Blochet is a vintage that I had never tasted before since it was only distributed to restaurants in France. It had a pretty, pastille-like bouquet with red cherries, wilted rose petals and spice, becoming noticeably stemmy with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, quite elegant in style it is missing some mass and presence as it tip-toes towards its finish. Lovely to drink, but not a profound DRC. Tasted at the Bistro Roch in Nuits Saint-Georges
