Palish red. High-pitched aromas of raspberry, crushed stone and rose petal. Dense, sappy and quite dry, with serious acidity giving spine to the flavors of red fruits, crushed stone, spices and blood orange. Not an easy style but sharply chiseled and painfully young for village wine, offering noteworthy inner-palate tension. Finishes with good subtle length. Id give this five years to harmonize and deepen in the bottle.
