Medium red. Lively but restrained aromas of raspberry, mocha and violet. Wonderfully sweet and plush for premier cru, but with a distinctly juicy quality to its dark fruit avors. With its spreading, ne-grained tannins, this very long, suave premier cru leaves the palate vibrating. The crop level here was a touch lower than in 2014, according to Bernstein: 33 hectoliters per hectare, vs. 35.
