From a parcel high on the hillside in the direction of Blagny, the 2018 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perri?res unwinds in the glass with notes of pear, vanilla pod, fresh mint and orange oil. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and precise, it's quite open-knit for a young Perri?res, but the site reasserts itself in the form of chalky back-end grip.
