Tasted at the Comte Liger-Belair vertical at the Ch?teau de Vosne. The 2009 Vosne-Roman?e Clos du Ch?teau clearly has more fruit concentration on the nose compared to the 2007 and 2008: sensual red cherries mixed with raspberry and orange blossom. I like how seamlessly the oak is integrated here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and a crisp line of acidity. This is the oldest vintage that feels as if it could benefit from more bottle age. This is very fine. Tasted June 2015.
