The 2023 C?te de Nuits-Villages La Robignotte comes from a vineyard that was classified as a monopole, named after a famous surgeon. It has blue marn soils that are rare in Burgundy and lend depth. It just takes a few swirls to open up, revealing briar, raspberry, graphite, truffle and touches of garrigues. This is very complex. The palate is medium-bodied with a lightly spiced entry thanks in part to the 50% whole bunch. This lingers in the mouth?a truly exquisite Pinot Noir.
