The 2022 Ech?zeaux Grand Cru has a lovely, pure bouquet showing plenty of cohesion, with dried rose petals infusing the red berry fruit, granite, and light white flower scents. The palate is mediumbodied, with finely chiseled tannins framing the light and slightly leafy red fruit. There’s a little austerity towards the finish at the moment, though it should fill out by the time it is in bottle.
