The 2012 Chablis 1er Cru Forets has a very Chablis-like nose that is less exotic than the 2013, stricter and more mineral driven, slightly fume. The palate is precise with a suggestion of almond on the entry. It is very well-balanced with perfect acidity, leading to a gentle finish of almond and walnut that lingers in the mouth. This has fine potential. Drink 2015-2025.
