Good lift to the aromas of pineapple and stone. Not particularly complex but oers an impression of more structure and lift than the Bienvenue, despite the fact that this is lower in acidity. Not particularly complex or scented, but boasts good power and persistence. This, too, is rather closed today. Pernot's Bienvenue vines are in Puligny while his Batard is in Chassagne.
