The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets was showing beautifully, mingling aromas of pear, peach and confit orange with notes of buttery pastry and hazelnuts. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, its rich and layered, with terrific depth and concentration and a long, spice-inflected finish.
