Originating from a vineyard on a plateau neighboring B?tard-Montrachet, the 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Vide Bourse lifts from the glass with aromas of pear, orange oil and peach, mingled with freshly baked bread and hazelnut. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, ample and textural, with a rich, layered core of fruit underpinned by racy, balancing acidity and concluding in a long, enveloping finish. If Les Caillerets is for purists, this is for gourmands.
