Bright red-ruby. Lovely floral lift to the perfumed, precise aromas of cherry and blood orange. Almost painfully concentrated, with the wines superb sweetness and vibrant acids currently battling to a draw. Powerful underlying minerality contributes to the overall impression of sappiness and verve. This needs further elevage and is likely to require at least six or eight years of bottle aging.
