The nose on the 2022 Mont-P?rat still needs to cohere and offer more fruit?this is a bit surly and backward. The palate is medium-bodied, spicy and peppery, with a touch of sapid black fruit and a finish that deserves better aromatics. Give it a year in bottle and keep fingers crossed.
