Alexandre Chartogne's 2016 Extra-Brut Hors S?rie is a stunner. It marries freshness, energy and textural richness in style. There's tremendous volume and breadth here. Pear, tangerine peel, spice, mint, graphite and chamomile ll out the layers. Even with all of its natural intensity, the 2016 remains light on its feet. Dosage is 0.95 gram per liter.
