Produced entirely from the 2016 vintage and disgorged with a dosage of three grams per liter, Lahaye’s NV Ros? de Mac?ration underwent a three-day maceration before pressing, followed by maturation in barrel and amphora. A success in a year fraught with mildew pressure, this wine emerges with vivid aromas of redcurrant, cranberry, pink grapefruit and spice. Medium- to full-bodied, it is flavorful yet racy, with bright acidity and bitter, structuring phenolics that express themselves on the long, mineral finish.
