The 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village wafts from the glass with a deep-pitched bouquet of cherries, cassis, berries, orange rind and rich soil tones. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, rich and muscular, with powdery structuring tannins, succulent acids and a long, expansive finish. It should come together nicely in time for bottling next summer. This cuv?e sees 30% new oak.
