Ruby-red. Deep aromas of roasted dark raspberry and tropical chocolate. Sweet and spicy but backward, with more primary dark fruit flavor than Rouget's other 2003s. This cuvee began with the highest acidity and was not adjusted. The tannins spread out to coat the palate. Very interesting wine, revealing the heat of the year only on the finish.
